96 Chero limited, replaced coolant sensor, warning in modal still comes up. Have removed battery cable for 30 mins. hoping to clear, drove for over 50 miles hoping for reset but no luck. any advice?

 

Why did you replace it? And, with what? Sorry, I don't get this: "warning in modal still comes up.", are you talking about the CEL, stays lit or reappears?

 

The display inside car that tell date, time and shows if doors are hood are open. New to modern jeeps with all the displays. no owners manual came with my 96. Display reappears after a few miles of driving. Replaced because warning came on.

What display comes on???? You are making very little sence on what you are saying Try reading you post and see if you can make out what you are talking about. Also there isn't a display near the floor shifter other then what gear you are in. If you are having a hard time explaining what you are talking about try posting a pic.

 

What are you trying to accomplish. You don't mention gauge readings or overheating so assume you are only concerned with a warning light in the "modal". Please understand that most of us aren't familiar with this system.
