Hello all! Been since December since I've been on. And thanks to all you helped me with my overheating issue then. But I have a new problem, but almost same conditions: My coolant overflow bottle is filling up and bubbling out from the top as the temperature gets to about 215 or so. The temperature never gets above this mark and does not go into the red, but yet the bottle will fill up and bubble out. When I run on the highway and never slow down in traffic, temperature stays around 195-200 and the bottle does not fill up, only when it is around the 215 mark. In december I was having the same problem but then the temp. gauge would jump to the red. In December I replaced the thermostat with a 195 degree thermostat. Replaced the radiator cap too and didnt have any problems after that until yesterday. So thermostat is four months old, radiator cap is four months old, water pump is less than two years old, upper and lower radiator hoses are less than a year old. The only thing that I can "hear" different is when I squeeze the upper radiator hose I hear a small "click". Seems to be coming from the thermostat housing, but not too sure. You hear the click once while squeezing and hear it again once while letting go of the hose. Im thinking bad thermostat. Any ideas?
Thanks for any help,
Anthony

I would say bad radiator cap. Its not holding the pressure in and letting the water boil. Coolant/water mix boils at 180F but if its under pressure it wont boil over into the overflow bottle

I replaced the radiator cap and it seems to be doing the job of keeping the pressure up. So far so good! But this weekend ill replace the thermostat anyways since its an easy job. Thanks freegdr and TheJerm for the advice. I'll keep y'all up to date.
