Its actually pretty easy depending how you wanna go about doing it, what I did was go to the local salvage yard and found one with manual cranks, I chose not to use the door panels from the donor because they were crap so I just diamond plated it, and capped off the power wires, it turned out nice, or you can buy the manual setup online new but that can get pretty spendy when its said and done

oh..but that may take a lil time..since i just fractured my ankle this past week. ill see if i can send my brother to the jy to get me the cranks and all the stuff i need..lol
The manual crank is directly connected to the window track. I don't have power anything in my '87, but I can't imagine that you can go from power to manual windows without replacing the whole track (i.e. I don't think it is just a disconnect the power and slap a crank on it job). The track/crank is riveted to the door with 6 1/4" aluminum rivets. You can drill them out no problem, and you can get a large rivet gun (type thing) that will accept 1/4" rivets from Harbor Freight.

i was thinking about it..but i dont really know if the cops here would trip or not..but ill probably be making some tube doors sometime soon..i also like the half doors..if i do that as well ill just get some manual crank doors and turn these into the half doors.
As long as you mount some sort of side view mirrors you should be fine.
