So on my list of things to do, I want to convert my air conditioning pump to an onboard air compressor... And I have NO idea where to start or what to do. IM pretty tech savvy and could figure this out but wanted to double check with everyone here so I dont fry a perfectly good AC. If anyone has step by step instructions on how to do this, LET ME KNOW!

^^^ Thanks for the info! Been looking for that info for a while now on here.
Does it matter what year XJ compressor is used? I have a 91 and ended up taking the ac out when I found an ac delete pulley at the junk yard. The pulley went to crap and my buddy give me his compressor from his 01 (r134). I know they switched to a dif freon sometime ago. Its a litttle bit bigger than the one that came with my 91. Just curious I guess if ones better than the other,
