Looks like it have been done quite a bit. Do a quick google search:

I don't know if you're going to get a "how to" step by step on it, but I'm sure you have a tape measure and if you're into fabbing, I bet you can figure it out once you get the parts in front of you.

Go for it. I'll be interested in your process and maybe a write up?

i know rockKrawler and clayton both make one. I believe both would break the bank though (or at least mine) Its a decent amount of work but i don't think it would be all that hard to make your own, good luck.

X2, on RockKrawler and Clayton. TeraFlex also offers one, as well as TnT Customs. But they are all very pricey. If you've got the tools and fab skills you will only pay for parts and materials. Check out www.naxja.org, as well as www.pirate4x4.com. There are lots of build threads over there on home-built rear coil conversions.

Good luck, and keep us posted on the build.

the kits are way over priced and i know for a fact that one uses stock cherokee front coils(which net 6in in the rear) go on pirate4x4 and search and read everything you can,its not just a chop weld and install, if the coil isnt in the exact location suspension geometry will be off ect. I'm gonna do it eventually after i gather all the info i need and a nice welder. Goodluck.

Check out this build thread;

I think you have to register and create login credentials for the site, but it's free. This build is one of the most well thought-out builds I've seen on an XJ, period. This guy has mad fab skills, and his rear 4 link is a pure work of art.

i had all the parts and tools to do the job but a camping trip the weekend before turned my cherokee into a huge paper weight. i blew the motor shattered the rear end and the frame is twisted. im starting over with a 94 cherokee in late fed or march. hope fully this one works out
