Control Towers on Factory Tracks or Gutter Mounts

I'm trying to decide between Yakima control towers mounted on the factory tracks or the Yakima 1A gutter mounts. Anyone have any experience or advice?

IMO gutter mounts are always better/stronger than the factory tracks/rack.
