Default Control Arm Bolts?

I am replacing the control arms in my 94 grand Cherokee. Does any one know the bolt sizes that hold the arms in place. I need to know since I am replacing those as well.

You might have better luck asking the guys in the GC section. This is the XJ section.

I'm pretty sure the ZJ uses the same bolts. In fact, I think both the upper and lower control arms are the same size. I've heard they are stamped out of heavier gauge steel but I don't know, personally. Unfortunately, despite replacing my LCA bushings this past weekend, I don't know the bolt size other than it takes a 13/16ths wrench.

I'm not really sure myself. Only what I have seen in a couple posts that other people have replied to. I am searching for the answer myself because mine are about 20 years old and rusted and impossible to get off. I saw on another post this person gave this answer:

"They are metric M14, but if I recall correctly a 9/16 bolt will fit it properly, easier to find than a metric of the proper grade. Make sure you use grade 8."

and another post someone else said:

“M14-2.0 x 110, grade 10.9.”
