Default Considering 2wd to 4wd conversion, will a 1993 ?

I found a 93 4x4 for $900 but the engine is trash (and a whole buch of other problems) Would the trans, front axle, transfer case and rear driveshaft bolt up to my 95 2wd for the conversion? I have a chrysler 8.25 diff.

Also... I have been trying to find out if I need a different trans computer
for the conversion or other electrical, do I ?

Thanks.

I would rather swap your engine in the 4x4 jeep then try to do a 4x4 swap on a 2wd.

He means you will have to change the rear diveshaft since it will be shorter in a 4x4 then a 2wd.But honestly buy a 4x4 xj and sell the 2wd,Its a big job to swap one to 4x4 and you can buy a good 4x4 xj cheap if you look hard enough.Being in southern cali you should have a lot of no to little rust xjs on the market.
