I hear those halloween-themed filters with rhino lining on them make it go faster though.

Its true! Lesser filter media creates less drag on the engine, resulting in at least a 15 HP upgrade. Once the filter is broken in you can see further gains. This is best combined with placing a Type S sticker on your oil pump (Type R for pre-91) and switching to WD40.

Awesome Don't forget to add some to the fuel too to quiet squeaky injectors.

The real hot setup is to create "combustion synergy" by carefully matching your motor oil to your fuel. Run E85 and switch the crankcase to 85% Mazola.
The additional blowby you'll soon enjoy acts as a turbocharger, multiplying your horsepower by 6! I recommend the dipstick and oil filler cap blowout preventers to keep the boost level up when accelerating, you'll notice the difference.

According to Frams website, their oil filter for a Jeep XJ is 1/16th of an inch different than what Cherokees need.

Lmao "combustion synergy"! That's an excellent idea - every time the piston travels upwards you'd get a power stroke! If that's what you're after then the oil pump should be replaced with a high pressure fuel pump from a DD15, C15, or ISX (maximum flow). Add a cetane booster every service interval.

I think we can do this, guys. I'm thinking a 3" straight pipe from the valve cover.
