Confirm an exhaust part please - Walker 55277 - front pipe
I know what P/N I need. You posted that the 55277 model was $35, so I just asked to confirm that you were talking about the same one.
Never asked you to do any research for me......just to confirm your statement, which was inaccurate.
No offense, but if you do not have your facts straight, please don't post and confuse others looking for the correct info, which I have worked to provide here.

I will make sure, however, to never post any potentially helpful suggestions on any of your threads again, that's for sure.

Haven't ordered this pipe yet, but as I was looking at the pics of it again, I noticed that there are 2 pre-cat O2 sensor bungs. How is that possible?
In any case, does anyone know if the bung is a standard size? I found a seller that has plugs/caps that screw in to cap them. I would only need to cap back one as the front one is for the front O2 sensor and the bung on the cat is for the rear one.

I run the walker downpipe from advance, idk why people are basing the crimped style. But if your stock height with 4x4, DONT install a downpipe without the dent or the front yoke will make the dent for you. Or you can bumpstop to prevent this.

I just ordered it. Ill post back. I got the 55277 for my lifted '97 XJ. This was the 2.5" pipe. No dent. $52 shipped from Amazon (NAPA was $81). Already have a new Magnaflow hi-flow cat 2.5" waiting to be installed.

Hey there. Just put in my 2 cents on this older post? I ordered this downpipe from amazon with a new cat from autozone. Didn't have time to order another new cat from amazon. This pipe works great. Has the hole for the O2 sensor in the front. And passed inspection. So I don't understand what the argument is between everyone but this is better than a rusted pipe like mine was.
It's 2.5 about 70% of the pipe. I think the first part maybe 2 1/4"? Hard to tell 100%. It maybe 2.5" all the way. Just not 100% there. But, no dent.

Its 2 1/2 at the front where it meets the exhaust manifold. Then goes down to 2 1/4. At least that's what the description said and what the mechanic at quantico said.
It's in my garage. It looks reverse. Where it meets the manifold, it looks 2 1/4", but where it meets the cat, it looks 2 1/2"

yeah i have the same pipe. P# 55277. its only 2.5" gointo the cat by a few inches. the nice thing is no dent and no pre-cat. along with Mudfrogs high flow cat and 2.5" catback with a spr 44. i love the sound.
when i got the down pipe about a year ago, i could not find any full 2.5" down pipes without buying a header too.
love the sound nonetheless. I get compliments all the time.
