compression gauge? do you mean oil pressure gauge?
or did you hook up a cylinder compression gauge?

Does that when its cold and drops when warms up. It takes more pressure to push a more viscous liquid than it does a less viscous.
Mine is 70psi at startup, after about 20 min of driving its a steady 35 at idle.

Sounds like your oil pressure is on the low side. When you say 0 at stopped. I hope you mean when the engine is turned off.
If it is reading 0 while running, you need to first check oil level and the oil pressure sending unit to verify correct readings on your oil pressure gauge. Hook up a mechanical oil pressure gauge to check pressure.
You should never have 0 oil pressure when the engine is running. This will cause major engine damage.
If your engine is really running 0 pressure warmed up you may have either a failing oil pump or other serious problems in the oil passages in the engine, possible excessive clearances.
