Will comanche leaf springs fit an xj w/o any modification? Will they provide any lift or will it be stock height? Anybody use them on an xj?

It will give lift. The MJ is set up for spring under and the XJ is spring over. I'd say your looking at 5.5-7" of lift on a XJ with using those leafs..
they should bolt right up, and yes they will lift it but its only about 3" i have read about people doing this several times and they said its about they same as buying new leaf packs from a lift kit, around 3", or you can just go to the junk yard and pull the rear leafs off of a mid '90s chevy 1500, they are said to bolt up as well with no modification and provide again about 3" of lift
They WILL not work they are much much longer, I learned this when I tried to use XJ leafs on an MJ. And if they did bolt up, they would give 5-7" of lift for sure as an MJ with a spring over setup usually gets about that much with stock springs.
they are a whole lot longer and the center pin is not in the right spot.
i used mj leafs but swapped in a 80's dodge van leaf main (same distance from main eye to center pin but longer in the rear. and got about 5.5-6 inches of lift)

If you don't know what you are talking about, don't pretend you do and make things up.
they will not bolt up. about 5" too long
they will give about 3.5" of lift mated to a stock xj main leaf, and thats if you take the main mj leaf, and cut it down, and grind the edges down.

MJ springs are 5" in longer then xj springs, and the arch is totally different then that of a xj. Unless you stretch your wheel base you can not use them on a xj. They will move your axle roughly 5" to the back. This will be a mod I perofrm on the Turd
