Default Cold Start

Hi guy's

I have a problem starting my 99 4L Cherokee when the engine is cold, it's like I have no choke, I'm thinking there must be a sensor which detects when the engine is cold and needs to be replaced but I have no idea where it is.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks
Doug

SWAG, but sounds like the fuel pump draining the line.

Turn the key on several times before engaging the starter. You can barely hear the fuel pump for 10-sec. About the 4th time should start.

I'll give it a try. The engine will start but I need to give it gas to keep it from stalling until the engine is warm. It doesn't happen every time I go to start my jeep, maybe about 40% of the time.

Thanks
