is it normal to be a pain to start the jeep in cold weather cause i have a 92 xj its about 20 out side

I think its your battery that causes the problem when its cold out, Im running with an optima red top and havnt had any issues starting, but it does take a little longer then when its warmer out, im not far from you at all either by the way.

What do u mean?........engine turns slowly when cranking (using starter)?, or engine cranks longer before starting?, or engine runs poorly when it starts?.
