Default clutch problems help 94 cherokee sw 4.0 2x4

Really hard to get onto gear and going. But once it does its fine ... feels loke the clutch may not b cacatchin.. its really easy to pish the clutch down even wit my finger... just brought need help to get up n running any advice . I always wanted this jeep. Now i have one im willing to bring it back 😊

Well the XJ has a non adjustable hydraulic clutch. You might have a master or slave cylinder failure.

I'd check the fluid and make sure it's bled, first thing, then take it from there. (it takes brake fluid)

Its a sw does it mAke a difference And what do i need to do to get everything figured out

DFlinstone above mentioned it already, it takes brake fluid. Start by filling the fluid then looking for leaks. There really isn't that much to look at afer that, master and slave cylinder, resurfacing the clutch is pretty much a shop job for most peeps.
