Clutch help!!
Have a 95 xj country. The clutch pedal seems to have lost some pressure but the clutch still engages and disengages like it did before. Is there anyway I can adjust the clutch pedal itself to make it tighter (or more pressure)? I believe it's a hydraulic clutch do I just bleed it or is there any adjustment down by the transmission. Any help would be great thank you.

This happened to me, too. For me, my master cylinder was leaking. I noticed that my clutch was getting soft, and then about 20 hours later it stopped engaging completely. Look behind the clutch pedal and see if anything is leaking there.

When you mean master cylinder do mean replace that and the slave cylinder? Or is the master tied to the slave somehow? I have a reservoir for the slave.

to the op: check the entire system for leaks. if none are present, bleed the system. if the pedal goes limp again replace the slave and master.
