Clutch (etc) replacement advice

Model: Cherokee(XJ)
Engine: I6 4.0L
P.S. IF I ever have to pull the tranny again, I'm definitely going to remove the transfer case from the transmission. I don't know if that will make it easier, but I can't imagine how it could make it any harder.
