1994 cherokee sport.
I've got this annoying clunking/banging/shifting feeling when I stop and take off, feels like the transmission moves around some. I also feel it when I go over a speed bump when the rear tires go over. It's done it ever since I got the jeep about 2 months ago. New engine mounts, on the second trans mount because I thought that was the issue, granted the anchor mounts are crap and the rubber on them is like jelly, I could move the transmission up and down about an inch either way by hand. The U-joints feel fine, no play up/down, or turning them. I read it could be the slip joint, but mine doesn't have one. U-bolts are tight, gas tank is tight. Is the 242 case THAT much heavier than the 231 where there's more moving momentum with it or something? or is it just a jeep thing?

Had a buddy shove it back and forth in park. Looks like the leafs are weak letting the diff roll some. Guess it's time to do a lift. Does anyone make a 2" lift kit with complete leafs and coils? I could piece one together but would rather buy a whole kit. Prob want 2" leafs and 3" coils to set it level.

Engine and trans mounts has less than 100 miles on them, even swapped the anchor transmission mount to another brand, and the exhaust has hardly any play to it either.
