Sooo you started climbing a snow bank and you heard a clunk... from somewhere... Did something in the cargo area fall down?
Put the Jeep up on jack stands and starting shaking down the driveline. If one U-joint was bad the rest aren't far behind. Check your drive shaft, double cardan, transfer case, differential, and axles. Also do the same to your steering.
