alright so I have lifted the rear of my 91 3 inches... now if I rock my jeep from side to side, it makes a "clunk" sound... I am thinking that my stock shocks are bottoming out... The sound comes from both sides if I rock the jeep pretty hard... comes from right behind the wheels... does a 3 inch lift max out the shocks??

I guess I cat unbolt the shocks and rock it to see if noise persists...

any ideas??

 

yes, that will max out a the stock shocks. 2inch lift is pushing it.
