When i hit the breaks, not initially, but as i near a stop, i hear a repetitive clunk or thump sound consistent with a full rotation of the wheels... thoughts?

There's a TSB (NUMBER: 05-05-00) that deals with clunking while coming to a stop, but before I go any further what rear axle do you have? The TSB is for 97-99 8.25 axles for those interested.

Id find out where its coming from first, try braking while a friend of yours is listening closely from the side of the road. Both sides. Check your front axleshaft ujoints for play. Its only audible right? You can't feel it?
