Default clip size at bottom of brake pad

What size clip am I supposed to use on the bottom of the brake pad (where it rests on the caliper I guess?)? The AC Delco pads that I got came with .10, .15, .20, and .25 ... the pads that were on the car had .10, .15, and .20 on them. I don't honestly know that they are even for and the instructions that came with the pads said to "use the right size for your vehicle"

I can post pictures if everybody is confused..
Cheers,
