Climate Contol
My 91 Cherokee blower fan is not working. Checked the fuse and power to the fuse is good. Pulled apart dash and disconnected the brown plug(no meltig at all), but no power to the switch. I think it might be the controller is not sending the message that it is on. Like when you turn the heat off the fan would go off without the switch. Any ideas? Thanks

The bus bars inside the mode (selector) switch have been known to burn up.
You can remove the switch (two screws) and look inside at the bus bars and see if there is evidence of arcing. You may have to disassemble the switch to see all the bus bars. See pic.
