Hey everyone
I have a 98 XJ, and I put 2 " lift on it. I'm not sure if the noise was happening before I lifted it or not, but here goes
When I'm driving down the road, when I left off the gas suddenly, I hear a click coming from under the drivers side/hood area.
Like I said, there are 2" spacers in front, and I also had to replace the sway bar links when I lifted it.
I want to try and avoid taking it in if it's an easy fix.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Maybe your TB? But most likely not, a clicking? Check your coils, one couldve snapped and it could be the sound of the snap in the coil moving in and out of place, although its unlikely since there newer but not all new parts are good. just a thought.Originally Posted by nimbuskid

You're never going to get the correct answer from a forum, it is impossible to diagnose a sound in a vehicle with a vague description on the enterwebs.

^agreed, but i would first make sure the coils are lined up correctly witht the bucket, and make sure that the shocks are tight and you didnt forget to tighten somthing and moved somthing.
