Cleaning the IAC

it is screwed on the back of your throttle body with 2 screws, and just pulls out. next to the tps iirc. I think carb cleaner is ok, but do not go by just me on that one, one of the cleaners will do damage and make it a tacky surface.
If you are cleaning the iac, you might as well take the whole tb off and clean that too, because if that is dirty, you iac will be dirty also.

It's OK to use carb cleaner on the IAC, but if you decide to clean the throttle body, use throttle body cleaner.
