Any tips on seperating exhaust pieces that have been clamped together with muffler clamps? I just installed all new exhaust on my XJ and don't like the sound of the dynomax muffler so I was gonna put a Flowmaster 50 on there. I can't get the muffler to seperate from the cat but everything else comes apart! I don't have access to a torch

It would be work, but you could take a hacksaw and cut the pipe diagonally. Then take a chisel and peel back the metal. You could also use a reciprocating saw to do the cutting, but you have to be careful not to cut through both pipes.
