Free2door

I was given a '94 Cherokee 2 door for free. i have been driving it everyday for a a few months now and i pull it out of my shop and park it in the lot. shut it off, try and start it minutes later, and nothing. not even a crank or a click. i figures the starter just went out.. i just installed a brand new starter and nothing. not even a click. everything has been hooked up properly and all fuses have been checked.. i swapped starter relays and still nothing. its a 5spd manual. do they have NSS? i looked by the pedal and don't see one.

Jeep Driver

Use a test wire, 4' of wire with an alligator clip at each end. Attach one end to the small terminal on the starter, touch the other end to the POS terminal on the battery.

See if it cranks.

No Nss.
Clean your battery terminals & ground wires.also both starter connections.
They build up a lot of crud from engine oil.
