hey whats up guys, my first time posting. just bought a 2000 jeep cherokee v6 about a week ago and already im clueless. lol hopefully someone can help me out.
so the seconed day of driving the car my check engine light came on, and the code came up p0740 torque converter clutch no rpm drop at lock up?
i started with the easy stuff and replaced the trans filter and flushed out the old fluid with new. light went off and then came back on 2 days later and then kept going off and on. even though the jeep runs great and shifts smoothly!
so i got the check engine light checked again and now theres a new code tha also comes up P0432 catalyst efficiency low- bank 2. after i googled that i found that a lot of people replaced the o2 sensors so i did that but still light is on! but the a/c which was not working at all since i had it all the sudden was working and blowing ice cold air out but half hour of running the jeep it stopped.
i have no clue if any of this is related or not. but if anyone has any ideas please help me. i really dont want to take it to the dealership yet cause i know they will take all my money lol
