Default Cherokee trouble

I have a 1999 Cherokee sport. The overflow tank for the radiator tank kept getting low with some dripping around radiator and also some fluid on radiator. We replaced the radiator and refilled it but a few days later the reservoir tank still seems to be dropping.

The oil pressure also seems to get low when stopped and idling (around 12) after warming up. One time it even dropped to zero and and the "check gauges" light came on, but hasn't dropped that low since.

There also appears to be some dripping and leaking around the oil pan and filter. They look wet after driving with a little dripping off the bottom of the oil pan.

I've checked the dipstick and the oil has remained in the safe zone and it does not appear to be mixed with any antifreeze but a little dirty and should be changed.

Your thoughts?

Thanks,
Hayden

Mine did the same thing, but mines a 00. Anyways I had a crashed head and a cracked block. It ran fine with the exception being loss of coolant. And I had a rust hole in the oil pan. Check yours and replace the seal around the pan.

The cooling system may still be "burping" air out and that air is replaced with coolant from the bottle. Check the coolant level in both the bottle and radiator daily, motor COLD, for several days. A properly functioning radiator cap is critical to any coolant recovery system, install a new one.

^X2^ Has your heater been on so the core can fill?

My guess on the oil on the pan and filter may be caused by the oil filter adapter O-rings need to be replaced. Also wash engine well a valve cover gasket might be leaking and running down the back of the motor to make it appear the pan gasket is leaking. All of these will cause what you are seeing among others but these are the most common.
