Besides fuel pressure make sure you are getting spark too.

Is your fuel pump turning on for a second or two after you put your key in and turn the ignition?

i had the same exact thing happen to my 96 classic. i replaced the IAC (idle air control) valve for 37$ at orielys its an easy fix.
for me the idle valve seized up and wouldnt let air through the throttle body at idle.
now my jeep starts right up and is fine.
i strongly suggest doing that before a fuel pump. if it dosent work go get your money back. :P

i would say fuel pump, if the iac motor was bad you should still be able to start it by opening the throttle slighty or check the upstream o2 thats controls gas but it should start
