cherokee power issues

Default cherokee power issues

so my cd player,power locks, and the in cabin light wont turn back on or work. didn't see any blown fuses. would a bad fuse cause all of these to go out all at once? help a noob out

Did you check or just look at the fuses? Can't always tell by just looking at them.Also check where the cd player gets its power from.Sounds kinda like a short.

yeah I pulled the fuses to check. yeah thats what I was thinking but would short cause all those to fail at once? I guess if they all went to the same place. my windows work fine tho haven't had alot of time to check stuff out

I have a the same problem on my 91 Jeep Cherokee Limited, my power door locks, keyless entry, and inside dome lights and radio stopped working all at the same time. And I too checked all fuses ( not just looked at them, I took them out and they all seem to be good. Let me know if you find out the solution. Good Luck.

most of that is all tied together off you acc off the ignition did you check the bigger crome fuses at the bottom and the side of the fuse block also make sure the IGN wire is pluged in well at the fuses also theres is some fusable links by your battery off the starter relay might check those also
get a cheap meter at auto zone oe local parts store fuses can still look good but can still have a brake at one of the ends at the metal caps
