Whatever. Just go get the thing already and get another Cherokee out on the road. Then go watch the pabstboys video on how to change a radiator. Just in case.

If hot pressurized coolant came out of the overflow bottle then the head gasket blew. The same thing happened on my wife's Subaru Tribeca. If the head gasket blew in the "right" place there could be no other indicators or signs of head gasket failure. No coolant in oil and/or in exhaust. It could have been very small rip in the gasket enough to let pressure out of one cylinder but not let coolant in.

So i had went and checked out the jeep and it was better than expected, the oil was not milky but i did look like it needed to be changed. the floor boards were solid and did not have holes in them. also the coolant was bad and the guy said that the heater core was probably bad too. I offered him $800 for it. I am not looking for a daily driver right now. i was just looking for a dirt cheap solid jeep witch is hard to find in Michigan. i actually plan in a couple years once i finish college and have more free time and money to put a turbo on the jeep. i had planed on putting a rebuild kit in the motor obviously before i put the turbo on it but for now if i decide to get it, i will probably replace the head gasket and the coolant system and run it and see how it goes.
