I've uploaded an audio file.

Problem occurred after hitting a pothole at over 40 mph. Engine shut off later in the uploaded recording when put in reverse, but thankfully was able to turn back on.
I inspected the front suspension, and evering seemed in intact.
Year is 1995.

 

Was the vehicle moving when you made that recording or was it just sitting?

 

It was moving, at speeds as low as 15-20 mph.

 

Who knows but I would look carefully at the engine and transmission mounts.
