Default Cherokee with a bent front driveshaft.

I've been driving on it for a little while, and I have heard that I should take it off to prevent damages to anything. What are the possible damages?

my guess would be putting stress on the ujoint, the front yoke,? you might also break the yokestraps or atleast strip the bolts from the yoke? i dunno but just my thoughts

Seals, u-joints, bearings...
Really depends on the severity of the bend.

Keep in mind that there's no load on the driveshaft unless you're in 4Hi/Lo.
