Default Cherokee Bastard pack

I have an extra set of leaf springs sitting around from my cherokee. My buddy wants to lift the rear of his cherokee 5/ 5/1/2 inches. Would we be able to stack the 2 spring packs together and get some lift out of them? I haven't ever seen any posted on this so i just thought i'd ask.

I have read a bunch of those budget lift websites. I'm just asking about the cherokee springs. I'm talking no money at all. I just got tired of searching for someone who tried our leafs stacked thats all. Just wondering if there is a reason not to play around with stacking our leafs together or not. I was just wondering. I thank you for the link though. I haven't seen that one yet. I will book mark it.

Well, the Cherokee springs will be the same length. Not sure how that will work, not having any offset between the leaves. Also, if you did manage to get 5" of lift, I think it would take more than 2 packs, and your ride is going to be really stiff.

Scroll down that link the cherokee spring pack is there you just have to click to get to that site thats it only one click away from your answer. Just click on the words (Check out his fantastic budget boost article) this should be what your hunting for he used a second set of xj springs in his lift. Its right below the picture of the monroe shocks and the 3 paragraph above the stack of tires.

do it and see how it turns out.
but you will need new center pins, spring wraps and u-bolts. so you will have to spend some cash. u-bolts aren't cheap. (at least good ones, anyways).

I dont see why you couldnt get 5" from a bastard pack and shackle lift. A small block could help too
