My 1995 Cherokee has the 2.5 4 cylinder motor. It aslso has the smaller radiator with the cap. Its mounting bolts screw into a rubber grommet with the nut inside. Mine are all cracked and I had one heck of a time removing them. Does anyone know where to buy replacemnet rubber grommets/nut? I hope you say a national store has them!!!

 

Not too familiar with that, but can you use real bolts with large washers and possibly heater hose for the "bushings" between the rad and the metal? Kinda of redneck fix, but I think it would be very durable.

Otherwise, you are looking at a trip to the dealer me thinks.

 

I found some at teamcherokee.com They want $14.95 for two and say the dealer wants $28 each. I was just signing on to say I'll use rubber washers between the radiator mount and the core support and then some below the core support followed by was metal washer and the nut. The rubber washers above and below the core will let it move like the grommets do. Sounds like Diskman and I watched a bit too much of Dukes Of Hazard!!! YEE HA!!!!
