Default checking motor mounts

How do I check to see if my motor mounts are warn. I started the jeep the engine didnt shake. But I have a crack In my Manifold and was told it is usually from bad motor mounts. Also When replacing my header should I replace the bolts as well?

The crack in the exhaust manifold is a common jeep problem. To check your motor mounts take a flashlight and take a good look at the rubber if its all cracked and dry rotted look into replacing them in the near future. If you want to make it possibly easier when you have to take the manifold off next sure replace them other wise dont fix what ain't broke

The exhaust manifold does not need to be taken off to change the motor mounts. Only the air filter box needs taken out.
When I changed my exhaust manifold, I reused the original bolts. Some people have had problems with the bolt heads breaking off. The bottom four manifold bolts are a pita but if you have a swivel head wrench they are really easy.
