Well...just came on on the way in to work. 1998 Cherokee. I have a pretty lengthy drive so I had some time to experience it a little but I didn't notice anything. Everything still runs smoothly, oil pressure fine, temperature still hovering around 210. Any ideas of things to try or check for before I waste money taking it in?

Run her over t the nearest chain auto parts store and they can pull any codes tat come up. Make sure that you write them down and post them here so someone that has more knowledge then myself can let you know what they mean.

Well, it shut off Sunday night on my way home and hasn't come back on . . . I'll get it checked out next time it pops up.
