Just looking for a cheap and easy trailer wiring harness for the 96 Cherokee.

What should I be looking for?

Look it up on etrailer.com they have a brainless kit and a video to show you the install!

wow this would of been nice to know. i ripped the box out of a parts jeep and spliced the wires myself lost of testing wires to make sure they were the right wires.

Uhaul. 7.99$

took me 15 minutes to install. Work great and are tested by me to be waterproof.

walmart has one that just plugs in to your existing wire harness took me like 5 minutes.

Probably the same. Just a 4-plug with 3 tap in splices and 1 body ground.

No mine was just a plug, no splicing no cutting just a T plug that plugs in to the existing wire harness. It's real easy.

Is that a Stingray 180RX? I had one just like it. It's a great little boat that you'll really like.
