If you don't do "hard" wheeling you prolly be OK, but if you wheel it hard, escpecially rocks, you need good tires and they aren't cheap. Just my $.02 worth, hope it helps!!
Could not agree with this statement more. Tires are not something to skimp on, offroad or on.

I agree on all points that you get what you pay for.

I haven't had any problems with my Dakota's, granted I only hit up to medium trails.

For those that wanted to see them, these are the 31x10.5 on 15s...

As a Side note, if you are looking to save a few bucks, see if Pep Boys carries the tire you are looking for. Depending on price most of their tires are covered under the "Buy 3 get 1 free" offer.

My experiences were with the ATs. I see in your post that yours are MTs. They may have a better sidewall, IDK. This was in rocky situations, as most of my trips are. That really tests tires to the max. Those are some good looking tires!!

Ok, these are retreads, would anyone else be comfortable buying these? I have my 5yr old daughter in the car a lot and my worry would be one of these going bad with her in the car. Can someone ease my mind, or should I just stay away from these?

I discussed those retreads with my dad and he said that he would rather have me spend more money then buy retreads. I really like the tires on the newer wranglers. There expensive though

IDK, I've heard they are decent. Semi trucks use retreads all the time, but I also see a lot of their retreads laying on the roadside, so you make the call!!

Playing devil's advocate here: Semi's weigh a whole heck of a lot more then my Cherokee. Just sayin

I've been searching and I hardly find a bad review of them from anyone who actually owns them. I see a lot of the "you get what you pay for" sentiment, but thats not from anyone who owns them. I think I'm gonna keep searching and try and find something negative, otherwise I will have to try these out.
