Cheap + Lift = broken saggy piece of crap. Save your money and buy a good lift. How much is your budget. Also consider the amount of other modification you would have to make once lifted.... Also SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you could look into a 2" budget boost with shackles in the back and coil spacers in the front. I think rough country has one.
Just do a forum search for cheap lifts or Budget boost and you'll find alll the info you need.
Hope that helps

Are you planning on turning your Jeep into a project rig, or are you just lifting it for fun? If you plan on spending time and money upgrading it, I'd suggest saving enough for a good lift, rather than blowing a few hundred on a cheap one that won't last long.

Rough Country is the best mixture of quality and price you find out there.
Joe, your signature caught me eye. Not to offend you but, Cpl. and retired just don't add up to me. Did you have a bad experience while in the Corps? I'm a Navy Chief is why I ask. I taught at a tech. school where there were 6-7 year SSGTs and a couple 8 year Gunnys.

Joe, I hope i wasn't being too nosey. Thank you so much for your service, Bro!!!
If you want to buy a kit all at one time, you really can't beat Rough Country. Also we have a guy on the forum who goes by GrimusXJ. His real name is Jason and he is a Rough Country parts guy. Call him at(800)222-7023. Tell him you are a member of the cherokeeforum and he will give you a smokin deal.
If you're wanting to go ultra cheap check out this website. Google, (another freakin jeep cherokee website). The guy has a story about a very cool lift you can do on an XJ with all junkyard parts....Ford F-150 front coils and S-10 or Dakota rear springs. I believe it gives you about a 3-4 inch lift for dirt cheap.
Daystar and Teriflex have some pretty cheap Budget Boosts for Cherokees, also. You can get 1-2 inches of lift for around 80-100 bucks. I hope this helps.

My Rough Country 1.75in spacers were like $50 I think? I had to get them for the RC front springs which were only about 2.5 inches when I installed them. (supposed to be 3.5in) I am not complaining though, it rides nice and soft down the road.
