Default cheap/easy quick disconnects 3" lift

ok so i want to flex like a real xj should, but i don't want to spend $50 to do so or any kind of welding/grinding because i only have access to ratchet tools/torx. i have 3" coil spacers up front with everything else stock including shocks. so 1) do you think its worth doing 2) is there an easy way to add discos to my setup 3) any suggestions? thanks.

with stock shocks, i highly doubt you will benifit from any discos.....buy longer aftermarket shocks and make discos...then you will get the benifit's.

I've heard JK shocks are 2-3 inches longer than XJ's. The Rubicon edition ones might be even longer. I've seen quite a few for sale locally. There's lots of lifted pretty pavement princess wranglers in Utah. I've my eyes on a set for $40.

If you do get disconnected make sure you cycle the suspension and watch your tires if and where they may hit, fender wells, steering linkage also watch your brake lines to make sure you don't rip them off from axle dropping to far down. By flexing I mean how much they go into the fenders and then droop away. Like the other guy said; check to see you don't max out your shocks.

Yes stock shocks will limit ur droop (downward travel), but like stated I'ld be worried about the brake lines snaping!!! So either straiten ur hard lines or buy some extended mesh brake lines....

Personally I'd get the extended 22" metal brake lines, cause the factory rubber hose is weak & IMO skechy!

Most deff, once you change lines you will have to bleed them.

any time you open the system, besides the master cap, you should bleed the brakes.
