Changing out brake rotors - Composite or cast?
I'm planning on DIY'ing my brakes this weekend and I would like to know whats the best way to find out whether or I should get the composite or cast rotors. I saw that they had different wheel stud lengths as well (1 1/8" for composite, 1 1/2" for cast). I read a writeup about the change that occurred in mid 1999 and I don't know if my jeep is a 1999 or a 1999.5. Any help is appreciated

Bring a rotor with you to the parts store.
If you set the rotor on the counter, the "composite" ones have a rounded corner on the upper small hat part. The cast ones are more square.
Or, just haul one in to the store.. I did and found out that some dink put composites on my '92. Caused all sortsa hell. Replaced with cast and new hardware and it's all good now.
