OK back again. Since so many people kept mentioning tires I finally swapped all 4 tires between my 93 XJ (The one with the wobble problem) and my 94 XJ. The horrible "Death Wobble" at 55mph problem sems to have gone away. Although it does seem to have a bit of a slight vibration. But I noticed what appears to be a bad lower control arm bushing in my inspections so I'll mess with that.

Still need to take the '94 out now and run it at high speed to see if the wobble problem transfered to that one along with the tires. If so I'll get them checked and see which of them might be warped/out of round/balance/etc. With 2 bad hubs on the one Jeep I'm sure one or two tires on it might have gotten messed up.

Thanks for all the input!! You guys are the bestest

After replacing both hubs on my 97 I had to go have the tires rebalanced. Was getting the same vibration you are describing at 60-65mph for me. Balancing fixed 90% of it, the rest was a worn bushing that I've decided to ignore till I swap my front axle out (grenaded ring gear)
