just finished installing new motor and it wont start. checked timing 5 times, checked made sure its getting spark, all seems well. checked fuel pressure at rail, nothing. 0psi whats up with that? has NEW FUEL PUMP AND FILTER. i CAN hear the fuel pump running. its getting plenty of fuel up to the fuel rail but no pressure at the test port. i pulled the return line off so i know im getting fuel. whats goin on here? any ideas? i changed the fuel pressure regulator just to make sure also. again the pump is running.

yes cycle the key a few times with the schrader pushed (or hose attached) if there is fuel in the tank and you can here the pump.....you should get fuel!

got it running. it only runs when i block off the return line on the fuel rail. it runs really rough when i do this though. i get 80-90psi pulsing which in turn makes the motor pulse too. this is a 94 motor so the return line is right next to the supply line basicly. could my fuel rail be bad? why is it just blowing all the fuel out the return line instead of creating pressure? im not sure which one is the supply on the new rail the one towards the front with the regulator on it 1/4" line or the one towards the back 5/16" line?
