Chalk board dash rattle SQUEAK
I can not for the life of me figure out what is making this dang chalk board sounding squeak behind my dash on my 92. I removed the plastic trim, banged the dash, etc. I know its sort of a common problem, anyone ever find the source>????

I developed a squeak in my 92 after I pulled the bezel and uninstalled the dash to replace a bus cable to my cd changer. when I reinstalled it i think it is too close to the edge of the bezel where it rubs together. I am waiting to get my changer diagnosed to fix it but it drives me crazy

I used foam tape all around the cluster/ bezzle and used dieelelectric on all the spring clips that hold it on. Still squeaking like mad. what gets me is its not so bad going to work but on the way home at night its so loud and is making the noise about 80% more then in the day. I thought maybe it had something to do with the headlights so i killed them made no diff. Same road /route/speed traveled to and from............
It also makes the noise at very low speeds also. Could it be the tach or speedo? these dont use cables correct they are all electric gauges?
