center council swap

Im looking into putting a center council from a 98-01 Cherokee into my 95, will this work?

yeah but you have to modify the ebrake handle...just sold a console to a member that is doing just this

Oh wait, the older xjs have the e brake right in the center, and the need ones are offset to the left. Right?
