Installing the lift this weekend with the new wheels and tires, but i dont have center caps for the rims. Cant find them anywhere local and cant get any shipped before the weekend since im broke.

The question is do i really need them? Thanks!

nah. they're just a personal preference. mine rusted very quickly.

Someone told me if you dont run em you can get **** in "the bearings"??? Didnt think i needed them but figured i'd ask... Thanks

i've never heard that before. like i said, i think they're just personal preference. and mine were chrome, so i quickly ditched them.

i have a little rule about no chrome on my Jeep, looks to ricerish or mawl rated with it haha.

Center caps on the wheels are just hubcaps.
IF they are needed to keep dirt out of the bearings....there is something wrong.

Like was said...Personal preference.

Where to get?
eBay/Craigslist.
Mostly depends on the wheels you are running.

Me, I opted for the white wagon wheels, but I didn't like the tiny chrome caps.

Since the wagon wheels replaced my stock steelies, I mounted the stock "JEEP" center caps to the wagon wheels.

i just got some at discount tire they sold them to me at $4 each but im getting rid of them. they dent and rust easily.
