how do i take out the center cap. because i am wanting to paint my center cap and wheel

 

Usually you have to take the wheel off and there's three or four screws that hold it on in the inside of the wheel

 

I find its faster to hit some traffic cones

 

What wheel are you running?

On my mom's Cherokee Country, the caps are plastic and just pop out. You can either pop them out from behind or get something like a knife and pop it out from the front.

As far as other wheel designs, I'm not sure.
