Default CCV valve cover vacuum hose sizes??

2000 XJ Sport, owned for 10 months, 4.0L.

Today I noticed a leak in the 19/32" hose from the CCV elbow closest to the firewall (I replaced both of the elbows and their grommets <1k mi ago) and goes to the intake manifold. When I removed the old hose, I found that the brass nipple on the manifold was not 19/32", but closer to 11/32". The PO had inserted another line into the 19/32 line to attach it to the nipple on the manifold.

QUESTIONS:
1. Is that the correct size nipple on the manifold?

2. If so, is there a reducer connector that goes from the 19/32" hose to 11/32" nipple?

3. If not, what's the correct size of that manifold nipple?

As always, TIA for your help.

Phil

PS: I can take some pics in the morning if that will help.

Are you referring to these ends? https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/b/dorman-help--4422/belts-hoses-16454/hoses-25069/crankcase-breather-hose-14015/df8b1723839a/dorman-help-valve-cover-breather/47128/4528370/2001/jeep/wrangler?q=Breather+hose&pos=2

You can just search for a breather hose and replace the hole thing as well. It, obviously, would be the most expensive route.

I am going to need a better description or a picture cause I am thinking you are asking about the elbows on the
hard plastic lines that attach to the nipples on the intake manifold.

I don't know why AMC/Chrysler used these weird two sized vacuum hoses on the XJ's CCV system. But you probably aren't going to find what you are looking for via the big box stores. You'll probably have to go though Quadratec, Morris 4x4 or Team Cherokee.

Might be worth it to just buy a whole new set of hoses.
